2021 Deadline Club Awards
Entries for the 2021 Deadline Club Awards will be accepted until February 9, at 11:59 p.m. Click ENTER to the right and select Open Call Contestant Login in the bottom left corner. If you entered our contest last year, you should already have an account.
The Deadline Club journalism competition, one of the most prestigious in New York, draws more than 600 entries each year. The 2021 contest covers work that was published or broadcast in 2020 by news organizations in the New York area. Click the AWARDS INFO button for category information.
The cost is $75 per entry through February 9. The fee will increase to $100 per entry after February 9. A work may be submitted to more than one category, but a separate entry fee must be paid for each category entered. An entry will not be judged unless the fee has been paid by the deadline.

Entrants must be employees of or freelancers for news organizations with an office within a 50-mile radius of Columbus Circle in New York City.
