Lowell Thomas Travel Journalism Competition
All entries are due by midnight Eastern time April 1. Most entries must be done electronically at this website. A few entries must be mailed, such a print magazine issues and books. Ship in time to arrive by by April 1.
This competition is the premier recognition of excellence in travel journalism, with 30 categories for print, digital and multimedia work, travel photography, broadcast and digital publishing. For most categories, the fee is $25 per individual entry. The cost is $75 for a few categories, including Grand Award. Fees are noted in the summary of your entries. An auto calculation button shows the total, which can be paid with a credit card via PayPal or by check.
The competition is open to all journalists. Foreign journalists are allowed to enter their work published in North American media and work on their own websites.
