THE DETAILS

1. All entries must have been broadcast by the submitting radio/TV/College station employees (or students) between March 15, 2025 and April 10, 2026.

2. Winners will be notified and the luncheons will be this fall, more details coming soon.

Decision of the judges shall be final.

Judging is done by Market Size for all Radio & TV entries:

There are three separate competitive classifications: stations compete only with others in the same group.

GROUP 1: New York City only.

GROUP 2: Albany/Capital District, Buffalo, Long Island, Rochester and Syracuse.

GROUP 3: All others.

College radio stations/ television stations will be judged against each other throughout the entire state.

Please note: While entries may involve a program of any duration, the actual segment submitted should not exceed 5 minutes.

For stations providing locally produced content to multiple markets, entries may be submitted only for the station(s) in the largest market group in which the content was broadcast. Entries must be created in whole by employees working at the local station. Entries created in whole or in part by the use of generative artificial intelligence will not be accepted.

With respect to digital entries, the number of engagements is not dispositive in granting the award, it is one factor in an overall assessment of the entry.

All employees of NYSBA member stations in good standing are urged to submit entries.
