ENTRY PREPARATION: Most entries will be uploaded electronically as FULL-PAGE DIGITAL TEARSHEETS in PDF format. Online-only news media should provide PDFs of content as it appears on the website. Detailed instructions are provided. Maximum file size allowed is 5 MB. If you cannot upload PDFs, please contact Lisa at 405-499-0040 or 1-888-815-2672.

If multiple PDF files are required for a single entry, combine all PDF files into a single file. This makes it easier for the judge to review your entry.

Three categories (News Content, Layout and Design, and Advertising) require that three full issues of the printed newspaper (each from a specific month as designated by the rules) be mailed to the OPA office for judging. Online news organizations that do not have a print publication should mail printouts of ALL online content produced on three separate days in the required months for each category. Entries in the Magazine Contest are also required to mail two magazine issues to the OPA office for judging. Print and attach the online entry form then mail to OKLAHOMA PRESS ASSOCIATION, 3601 N. Lincoln Blvd., Oklahoma City, OK 73105.

Categories #10-23 allow multiple entries per member, but there is a limit on the number of entries allowed per member or per person. These limits are indicated in the Rules document. Once a member publication has submitted enough entries in a category to reach its limit, that category will no longer appear in the drop-down menu.
